Penny stock - The terms Penny Stocks, Small Caps, Micro Caps and Nano Caps are often interchangeable. While most investors refer to stocks trading under $1 as penny stocks, the broader definition refers to the company's market capitalization rather than its stock price.
Share (finance) - In finance a share is a unit of account for various financial instruments including stocks, mutual funds, limited partnerships, and REIT's. In British English, the usage of the word share alone to refer solely to stocks is so common that it almost replaces the word stock itself.
Finance capitalism - Finance capitalism is a term from Marxian political economics for the pursuit of profit from the purchase and sale of, or investment in, currencies and financial products such as bonds, stocks, futures and other derivatives.
Quantitative Analysis Software (Finance) - Quantitative Analysis Software is a relatively new method of investing which uses computerized artificial intelligence techniques to make decisions on the buying or selling of stocks, bonds, or other financial assets. Usually managers monitor the software's decisions and can decide to override it.
